New blogger

Hi, this is David. I will be your new blogger here, until Jared comes along. I usually build castle, but I sometimes do other things as well (like those spaceships). I am currently saving up for a laptop so I can make movies. I have two sisters, who may or may not be featured on here. I look forward to giving you more stuff soon.

Pew pew pew!

I made this little awesome laser blaster a little while ago, it looks somewhat like the ones in the original Star Wars movies from 1977-1983. I like Star Wars, but Harry Potter is hard to beat (If you know what I mean.)

If you are a Star Wars freak, comment below!

How to successfully land an airplane

Now I bring you another amusing "How to do" post, this time I did all of if by myself.

Step 1: Take it easy! Enjoy the ride.

Step 2: Trust in yourself. Cut power an let the momentum do the rest.

 Step 3: Tilt plane downwards.

Step 4: Glide through the air until you see the spot were you want to land. Do not stand up!

Step 5: Relax! Get ready to land.

Step 6: Tilt back up right and land.

Step 7: Make sure your plane isn't damaged in any sort of way.

Step 8: Feel proud of yourself!

Minions!

I don't know if you heard or not, Despicable me 2 hit theaters a few days ago and I saw it on opening day. Minions are very funny, somewhat dumb, and not very useful. They are also my faverote character in the movie. That's what made me come to making this Lego Minion.

It's not exactly like the movies, but it's still pretty good. My dad instintly knew what it was when he saw it. The hardiest part was the goggles, because we don't really have any small circular peices to go around the eyes.
Thumbs up for minions!

Sometimes simple is awesome

The title of this post is very true, according to this cool little starfighter that I made recently. It has a total of 21 pieces, if I counted correctly. Enjoy!

Pretty good, right? Star fighters are fairly simple to make. But this one in particular is simple, it's not very detailed.
Fire!

How to successfully park a Minecart

And now I give you: How to Successfully park a Minecart! David wrote the words, I did the pictures.

Step 1: Be confident! Relax, Take it easy.

Step 2: Start the minecart.

Step 3: Begin clearing the rails of any obstructions.

Step 4: Remove all large obstacles from the track.

Step 5: Begin driving into the Garage. Remain seated at all times!

Step 6: Cut power and let the momentum do the rest.

Step 7: Calmly exit vehicle. Do not jump!

Step 8: Turn minecart around, but do so inside the garage.

Step 9: Make sure that the vehicle is parked securely.

Step 10: Feel proud of yourself!

Simple things in life

So, I was looking back at the old blog posts and I was inspired by David's Ruins of Legos to make a nature scene. I spent quite a lot of time on this, and I hope you like it.

The waterfall is the highlight of this build. It gives you a random feel of how the water flows when at the bottom.

The tree was hard to make, but it turned out well in the end. Here are a few more pictures of the waterfall.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed making it!

T6-34 Hawk

At a normal glance, you would think this is a regular plane. It's not perfect, but if you look closely, it is made to look like a hawk/falcon. It is made out only two colors: Black and Yellow.

The yellow wingtips add a nice touch.

It's pretty good considering that I built it in about a half an hour.

Lego Minecraft figures

Ok, so I REALLY haven't posted for a while, and I realize that. So now I will get to posting a lot of things. Jared has come out with a lot of new videos, I don't know if you have been checking out his YouTube channel or not. But let's get to the post. For those of you who like Minecraft, I have made Minecraft Lego figures:

Here is Steve. I have to give some credit to my cousin Ana because she was the one who made him. But I modified his body to make it look better.

And so after Ana made Steve, I decided I wanted to make some monsters to go with it. So I made a Skeleton.

I wanted to keep going, so then I made a Creeper. It used up all of our green parts.

Then a spider.

Then a Ghast.

Then a Enderman.

And finally, a villager. If you haven't played computer verson of Minecraft, his arms a crossed because that's what it looks like in the game.

Sorry for no Zombie, I couldn't find the right color for that, so I didn't make one.
Don't be afraid to leave comments!

Castle by David

Here is David's new castle.

 The tree is great.

He made the roof out of two doors. Good work David! I love it!
